There is no religion higher than Truth! Our Ways: The brotherhood did not only focus on religion, the different ways of mind, body and spirit purification or the path of the soul to being saved.
Mind power, purification of mind and body, as well as the body's agility and strength are all develop through meditation, yoga exercises and martial arts because the members believe that the spirit is different from the soul which both reside in the body.

The Meaning of ESSENE/ESSENES The holy meaning of "Essenes" is utmost holiness and vigilance, but the Webster dictionary define Essene as a member of a brotherhood or cenobite order among the Jews or Palestine from the 2d century B.C.; and Essenes as an order organized on a rigid communistic basis that practiced the strictest ascetism.
This only shows that Essenes is not a new brotherhood as believed by many. |
